K+K
Hotels is a privately owned Company founded in
1961 by the brothers Josef and Helmut Koller.
Based in Salzburg (Austria) it is managed by Heinrich
Koller - in charge of Operations, Sales &
Marketing and Human Resources, and Peter Lochmann
in charge of Finance, Administration and Development.
K+K acts as Developer, Operator, and Owner. The
pace of expansion is steady and well co-ordinated
with its management capacity and financial resources.
New properties are developed only in prime locations
of major European cities. So far, beginning with
its first wholly owned hotel in Vienna in 1982,
K+K has opened every two years a new hotel.
K+K's portfolio of properties consists at present
of six first class hotels in London, Paris, Munich,
Vienna, Budapest and Prague totalling 792 guest
rooms and one historical building in Salzburg
which houses an up market restaurant and the group's
central offices.
K+K's philosophy is to operate and develop medium
sized hotels with a range of 100 to 200 rooms,
which combine international hotel standards of
highest quality with Austrian hospitality in prime
locations in Europe's major cities.
K+K's latest development, the K+K Hotel Fenix
in Prague went successfully in operation in June
this year. Planning permission for a 44 rooms
extension of the K+K Hotel George has been obtained
and a hotel project in a prime location in Paris
is in the final stage of negotiations.
